Pollard Park

What a gorgeous park to take a stroll in, or enjoy a picnic! Pollard Park is in easy walking distance from Seymour Square in Blenheim. It is 24.6 hectares of wooded parkland, with a meandering stream and a golf course. It has floral gardens, a playground, rose gardens, a native rockery, a rhododendron dell, a scented garden and a fitness trail.

The stream is fed by fresh spring water so it is crystal clear and clean. As we were crossing over a bridge, Boo ran ahead, as she spotted a small ball on some weed in the stream. She must have thought the weed was grass because she jumped onto it and disappeared! When she emerged, she was smothered in weed and the look on her wee face was priceless! Bernie was there in a second to help her out (but not before he dunked her back under to clean her up!).
