How can a small
screw create such a hassle? Well it can and it did! After working perfectly, the
shower door suddenly wouldn’t close. The door consists of three sliding glass
panels, and the middle panel became stuck. It looks like a small screw has
become dislodged and has prevented the middle panel from rolling. You’d think
it would be an easy fix …but to fix it, the top pelmet has to be removed.
However, the pelmet is firmly sealed to the rest of the shower door frame. So,
the entire frame needs to be removed, and then the glass panels have to be taken
out. This will then allow easy access to the runner. Once the screw has been removed
and screwed securely in it’s rightful place, all of the above can be sealed
back together and put back into the shower! I think it’ll be a job for
professionals, so we can be covered by our warranty.
