Second Rainy Day

You would have thought the second rainy day would be worst than our first. But it wasn’t … it was so much better. Maybe we were more prepared. The vents were all closed, so no puddles to greet us in the morning. The dogs have been on leads when walked, so no rolling in smelly stuff! In fact today, despite it being wet has been very relaxing and stress free!

P.S: An hour after writing this post, things changed!

Bernie fed the dogs outside, it was still raining, and we realize we need some sort of cover (small tent/small gazebo?), which can be a dry area to feed the dogs in. Anyway, they were fed but not on leads and 5 minutes later the camper from across the site came over and told us that we needed to have our dogs on leads at all times in a CAP site. The dogs had eaten and wandered away from the rig! It felt like we’d been told off (we had been!), and we felt bad. So that put a dampener on our otherwise stress-free rainy day! #Lesson# 10099!!!
