St Kilda

We drove to St Claires and St Kildas this morning. It was a gorgeous day and the beach was an ideal option for the dogs. I was surprised to see golden sand. The sand contrasted well with the blue/green hues of the sea.

Had a chat with this man. He was walking his three dogs and asked us how we came about owning three dogs as well. He told us that he had moved to Dunedin from New Plymouth, and while living in New Plymouth he rescued and rehomed 27 dogs. He and his wife kept the three dogs pictured above.

This bit of sea weed reminded us of Paddy's tail!
